New Retail Group Dialog

Retail > Retail items > Retail Groups > Add a retail group

What is the view/dialog used for?

• This dialog is used while creating a new retail group. Some settings for the new retail group can be selected from the dialog but these settings are not mandatory.
• Settings on a retail group are inherited to new items created in the group.

Fields & buttons	Description
Description	Enter a description for the item group.
Retail department	Select a retail department the retail group belongs to if any.
Add	Opens the New retail department dialog. Fill in the dialog and press OK to create a new retail department.
Item sales tax group	Select the item sales tax group that items added to this retail group will inherit.
Add	Opens the New item sales tax group dialog. Fill in the dialog and press OK to create a new tax group.
Variation group	Select the variation group that items added to this retail group will inherit.
Add	Opens the Variation group dialog. Fill in the dialog and press OK to create a variation group.
